These terms state how the pilot really operates. A lawyer will review them before public launch, and any change that comes out of that review will be dated on this page.

1. Who you are agreeing with

Moments is operated by VOO Solutions OÜ (registry code 14492107), Estonia ("Moments", "we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Moments is a private family memory archive: your family records memories as voice, photos and text; Moments keeps them in a shared timeline and family tree; and the Navigator answers questions using only your family's own memories, with citations. Moments is currently in a pilot phase: features will change and occasionally wobble, and we will tell you about meaningful changes rather than let you discover them.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself, give us accurate details, and meet the digital-consent age in your country. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you believe it has been compromised.

4. Your content stays yours

You and your family keep every right to the memories you add. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service: to store, back up, transcribe, index and display your content to the family members you have invited, including processing it to generate Navigator answers for your family. That licence is not for advertising, not for resale, not for training AI models, and it ends for content you delete.

5. Family sharing

Inviting someone gives them access to the family archive, so invite people the way you would hand over a key. Each member owns their own contributions. Only add content you have the right to share; the aunt who hates that photo of herself is a family matter, but uploading a stranger's private material is a terms matter.

6. AI answers, honestly

The Navigator generates answers drawn only from the memories your family has added. It cites its sources so you can check the original, and it is designed to say when the archive holds no answer rather than invent one. Even so, generated answers can be incomplete or imperfect. They are not professional advice (legal, medical, financial or otherwise) and should not be relied on as fact. Treat them as a well-read relative, not a court record, and verify anything that matters through the cited originals.

7. Acceptable use

Use Moments lawfully and only for its purpose. Do not upload unlawful content or malware, probe or overload the systems, scrape other people's data, or use the service to harass anyone. We can suspend accounts that endanger other families or the service, and where reasonable we will warn first.

8. Price

The pilot is free for invited families. Future pricing will be published before public launch and communicated to invited families well in advance. There will never be surprise charges, and your memories are never held hostage over payment: we will always give you a way to take a copy with you.

9. Leaving, and our obligations if we ever close

You can delete your account at any time in the app, which erases your data (see delete your account). A one-click export of your family's memories is in progress and will ship before public launch; until then we provide a copy on request. If Moments were ever discontinued, we commit to at least 90 days' notice and a working export throughout that period. An archive must never disappear with less warning than a landlord gives.

10. Liability

During the pilot the service is provided as available, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing removes the consumer protections of the country you live in. Our practical commitment is blunter: we keep backups, we encrypt, and we treat your archive as irreplaceable, because it is.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will notify you in the product with reasonable notice before the change applies. Continuing to use Moments after that date means accepting the new terms; not accepting them always leaves you the exit in section 9.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Disputes go first to info@myfamilylegacy.ai, where most of them should end.
